Radon gas is an odorless, colorless, tasteless radioactive gas that
comes from the natural breakdown of uranium found in most rocks and
soils. The only way to
know if a home has a radon problem is to test it.
According to EPA estimates, radon is the number one cause of lung cancer among non-smokers. Overall, radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer and is responsible for about 21,000 lung cancer deaths every year.
